Meet B. Hamsavardhini. Born and raised in Chennai, her early years laid the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of learning and self-discovery. She holds a Master’s degree in English Literature along with a B.Ed. in Special Education, reflecting both her academic depth and her commitment to inclusive learning. After spending nearly two decades abroad, she returned to Chennai with her family in 2023, bringing with her a rich blend of global experience and personal insight.
While dedicating herself to her role as a homemaker and supporting her family, Hamsavardhini has remained deeply engaged in her inner journey. Her curiosity about the mind and human potential led her to explore transformative practices such as the Art of Living, Vipassana, and the Silva Method, which she encountered in 2015. Through consistent practice—particularly of pranayama and conscious breathing—she discovered the profound calming and centering effects of these disciplines.
A pivotal shift came with Silva Mind Meditation, which helped her cultivate clarity, emotional balance, and a strong sense of positive intention. This practice deepened her belief in aligning thoughts, intentions, and actions, reinforcing her faith in the principle that what one seeks with conviction can indeed be realized.
Her journey of self-growth also found expression through creative and personal development pursuits. Singing, once seen as a talent reserved for the naturally gifted, became for her a pathway to joy and self-expression—an ability she believes anyone can nurture with practice and belief. Similarly, stepping into the world of public speaking through Toastmasters marked another milestone. What began as a challenge evolved into a testament to her belief that confidence is a skill that can be built with persistence and courage.
Hamsavardhini has also contributed her time as a volunteer in special education and IB school environments, reflecting her dedication to learning and community engagement. An avid reader, her interests have evolved from self-help literature, including the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, to deeper explorations of scriptures, classics, and spiritual wisdom.
